Following a hearing by the WRU Regulatory Committee on Thursday 8th December, the result of the Ystalyfera/Maesteg game in Ystalyfera on Saturday 17th September has been expunged and the game is to be replayed.
The result was in dispute with Ystalyfera claiming a 24-21 victory and Maesteg claiming a 21-all draw. As the referee was not sure of the result and with the lack of video evidence, the panel decided that the most equitable solution would be to expunge the result of the match and order that the match be replayed.
When the new fixture is arranged this will be communicated.
