Maesteg RFC senior backs coach Gareth Goodridge has stepped down from his role. Gareth has been in the role for the past six years and decided to leave the role at the end of the 2023/24 season. Goodridge will still be involved with the club as he is coach for the u15’s, a role he has done for the past 8 years.
Club secretary Darren Farmer said “We thank Gareth for the job he has done over the past 6 years. Gareth stepped in when the club started again at the bottom of the league pyramid and has helped set good foundations for the club to build upon. Gareth has arguable a more important role now in ensuring that his U15’s team progresses through to Youth and on to the next generation of senior players at the club”.
